Time for change - introduction

This section explores how you feel about your current role, what you want to be different in the future, and what are your most important priorities for change.

Being clear on what you want is a key element of personal change. At this stage you may not know in exactly which direction you want to change your career, or what steps to take, but it’s likely you will know of some of the things you want to be different.

It’s known that people differ in what is important to them in work. It’s also known that what’s important to people often changes depending upon the point they have reached in their lives – work-life balance can become much more important for people once they have children, for example.

You will be asked to consider what you want or need to change about work and what will be important to you in the near future.

In the next exercise, you’ll be asked about your satisfaction level with your current or most recent role. Move the slider on each scale to a point that represents your level of satisfaction with that aspect of your work.
