Many professional organisations provide useful careers information and advice about routes into their work. Their websites and addresses will be listed in information on the above sites.

Although information is useful, direct contact with someone already in the role or industry can be invaluable and provide insight of a different kind. Do you know anyone in a role that interests you? If not – do you know anyone who might know someone? Can you think of who you need to get to know, and then work out how? People can be surprisingly helpful to those seeking career help if they are approached correctly.
